We have a malfunctioning central heating boiler, partly a result of the now-illegal and collapsing flue, both parts of the overall crumblingness of the DGM HQ office.

A report from David’s yesterday-visit to IE and a comment heard there from a visiting industry-adviser: record companies today look on the notion of artistic integrity as strange, whereas once it was assumed that artist choice had integrity, rather than driven by the professional imperative.
Also discussed: three current disputes and the blossoming of The Vicar.

… and is the oldest RAF navigator there is.
Then a visit Don Hardyman, pianist and homeopath, and onto Johnny the W for cakes, coffee and discussion of arising and mutual interests; which are going deeper and further than has ever been. A joy.
Regrettably, one day is not enough to also visit other local pals I’d like to see. Back to the malfunctioning DGM boiler.
